The Information Services Manager is responsible for the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of all information technology resources, user support and for driving organisational efficiencies through improved use of technology.
To be successful you will be an ‘IT all rounder’ and able to effectively integrate technology into PSA’s business processes. You will have substantial relevant industry experience which may be supported by tertiary qualifications in information technology and/or industry certification. However, breadth of experience and an aptitude to deal confidently with technical matters is more important than an in-depth understanding in limited areas. Expertise in the use of person-based relational databases, data analysis and reporting, computer network management and problem solving (including Microsoft Windows servers and desktop operating systems) and solid skills in a range of desktop software is essential. Experience with web design, e-commerce and/or online learning management systems would be considered an advantage.
This is a full time position based in Canberra and reports to the Director Corporate Services. An attractive remuneration package and three year contract will be offered to the successful candidate.
